20 creative ways to use your swaddle blankets!

My son has outgrown swaddling and now I have extra blankets for various uses.  I got creative and found these swaddling blankets (ranging from 40×40 to 47×47) can be used for multiple things.  I listed 101 ways I found them useful for things other then swaddling.

Baby related uses:

  1. Burp cloth – babies tend to throw-up regularly, so protect yourself
  2. Bibs – newborns are messy when they eat
  3. Blanket – great when the baby is cold
  4. Shade cover when going out for those day trip to the park with the stroller or in the car
  5. Breastfeeding cover
  6. Mattress cover/sheet
  7. Swaddle blanket origami – spend some enjoyable hours making different animals with your kids
  8. Diaper changing pad – great when you are not home and need a clean surface to do a diaper change
